Description
Please join the ASUG PLM SIG Communities for their next Webcast: How SAP PLM Helps Cooper Industries in their Global Combativeness Drive. This Webcast is scheduled for March 6, at 1:00 p.m. CST/2:00 p.m. EST.
^
At the beginning of 2003, Cooper Industries launched its "Get Connected" program. A key initiative for this program was to implement a new PLM system to increase revenue from earlier market introduction of new products and to reduce product development costs. To achieve these objectives, Cooper Industries was required to optimize and streamline processes and to make information available globally. With the "UN1TY" initiative, Cooper began using SAP PLM in different divisions. With the deployment of SAP PLM, Cooper could simplify and streamline processes within a single technology platform and still maintain the use of multiple CAD systems. This Webcast will highlight the challenges engineering companies are facing, how SAP PLM provides a solution, and specifically how Cooper Industries uses SAP PLM to solve these challenges.
