If you are a new SAP customer, learn why establishing the right support organization, people, processes and tools using Run SAP can help reduce costs - and increase end user adoption. For existing customers, learn leading practices around operations excellence to enhance customer satisfaction and business value while reducing TCO. -The session will provide you with a Roadmap for creating a Best Run Support Organization leveraging Run SAP methodology. The session content is based on SAP’s experience with thousands of customers around the globe. Specifically, the speakers will discuss best practices around support organization models, people, processes, sourcing approaches and tools. - A case study format is used to present common customer situations, lessons learned and leading practices to optimize the overall support operations allowing the customer to focus more on innovation activities.

Bill O'Kane is a SAP Delivery Director in the Operations Optimization Hub, NA and is responsible for the execution of Run SAP services. Bill has over 25 years of business experience, including 15 years working with SAP software. His SAP background began when he was a Treasurer and project team executive for a large manufacturing company that was an early SAP R/2 adapter. Bill has spent the last 10 years consulting many global corporations in how best to implement and run the SAP platform.

Patrick Bresnan is the SAP Customer Engagement Director in the Operations Optimization Hub, NA. In this role, Pat’s team works with SAP Customers to help them Plan, Build, Run, and Optimize the “Run” Phase of the SAP Lifecycle (Production Support). Pat’s expertise includes SAP Support Strategies, COE’s, Right-Sourcing, and Process Excellence. He is Run SAP, ITIL v2 and ITIL v3 certified. Previous positions that Pat held in his 15 plus years at SAP, include global account management responsibilities for some of SAP’s largest customers (e.g. IBM, United Technologies) and SAP Platinum Consultant Director. Pat shares his extensive SAP knowledge and experiences with the SAP Community by frequently presenting at SAP events and co-authoring articles and books.
