Description

Join the ASUG Procurement SIG for its upcoming Webcast, “SAP’s New Concept for Stock Transfers”.

*This webcast has been rescheduled from September 15th, and will now be held November 4th.

In this Webcast you will learn why stock transfer processes are becoming more and more important for every customer. When production is shifted to another region or country while the procurement and sales processes are managed in a different location, material transfers are day-to-day work. This work is especially apparent within global companies that have multiple requirements for stock transfer processes such as:

- Visibility of stock in-transit
- Defined events for ownership transfer (who owns the transit stock?)
- Use stock in-transit for purchasing and sales processes as well
-Transfer the cost component structure to the receiving plant

This Webcast gives you an overview about the existing stock transfer functionalities and shows the new in-transit concept available with Enhancement Package 5. Additionally, working examples are shown how to run these processes in the ERP system.

Agenda:
-Learn more about the different stock transfer strategies offered within ERP 6.0
- Get a glance at the new functionality provided in Enhancement Package 5
-See working examples for the new transit functionalities
