Benchmarking & Best Practices Overview
ASUG and SAP Benchmarking studies are focused on strategic organizational areas of interest and high priority, emerging trends in technology and business processes. These initiatives provide ASUG members a unique opportunity to compare their performance against their peers and other SAP users, determine the value of adopting best practices, understand how IT drives performance, and track value realization.
When and Why to Benchmark
While there is not one best time to benchmark, there are many advantages to doing so. A company may find value in benchmarking prior to a business transformation to build a business case, during a transformation or in steady-state comparing performance to a set of peers, or after business transformation to assess value realization and track performance improvement over time.
