he Freeport-McMoRan Digital Workforce is more than an application or digital form—it’s a holistic approach to digitally empower our workforce. By taking a user-centric approach and utilizing cloud-based technologies, mobile platforms, and collaboration tools, we were able to deliver value to the business through digital capture, maintenance, and self-service. Digital data prep has led to more accurate maintenance plans, improving Plant Maintenance (PM) quality. In addition, equipment availability has improved due to higher PM compliance/visibility and less unnecessary outages and downtime.

Key learnings:

- Improved communication between planners, supervisors, and technicians

- Technicians have access to better information in the field, made available via SAP Asset Manager

- Enhanced accountability and tracking of work execution
