In the last year and a half, the pandemic forced companies to adopt remote work in order to protect their employees’ health. Company leaders learned, often to their surprise, that embracing a “work from home” business model provided significant benefits. Now, although this transition was not originally focused on improving the employee experience, many organizations saw increased employee engagement, productivity, and a stronger sense of belonging. Of course, this shift had pros and cons. In-person meetings are still recognized as a critical component of effective work, especially in the realm of fostering collaboration and social interaction. But employees have welcomed having more control over their time, not having to commute every day, and having the flexibility to work together without physically being together.

With all of this in mind, it begs the question: what is the best path toward a more hybrid world of work? In this session, join us and Dr. Steven Hunt as he shares insights and observations based on discussions with hundreds of SAP customers, reviewing several articles and studies about remote and hybrid work—all in an effort to answer this very question.
