This presentation will discuss Cargill's three-year plus journey with the SAP-IBP solution. Primary focus will be on the various use cases for SAP IBP across Cargill's diverse businesses and supply chain planning needs. The case for why SAP IBP is utilized in Cargill, benefits, lessons learned, and the journey ahead will also be items highlighted.

Angela, Olson, Cargill

Angela Olson has spent her entire career within information technology focused on supply chain planning solutions.  Angela is currently the Global Solution Architect and Solution Owner for Supply Chain Planning within Global IT at Cargill.  In her role Angela is responsible for the architecture for sales and operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, network design, production planning and scheduling, materials requirements planning, and inventory planning.  Angela has been a key resource in Cargill’s SAP IBP implementation journey since the beginning.  In her role as Solution Owner for the supply chain planning process space, she also works to develop the roadmap and services for IBP and other supply chain planning solutions within Cargill. 

Prior to joining Cargill in 2010, Angela previously held positions at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and St. Jude Medical (now Abbott).  Angela holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.  She also earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
