This pre­sen­ta­tion will dis­cuss Cargill’s three-year plus jour­ney with the SAP-IBP solu­tion. Pri­ma­ry focus will be on the var­i­ous use cas­es for SAP IBP across Cargill’s diverse busi­ness­es and sup­ply chain plan­ning needs. The case for why SAP IBP is uti­lized in Cargill, ben­e­fits, lessons learned, and the jour­ney ahead will also be items high­light­ed.

Angela, Olson, Cargill

Angela Olson has spent her entire career with­in infor­ma­tion tech­nol­o­gy focused on sup­ply chain plan­ning solu­tions. Angela is cur­rent­ly the Glob­al Solu­tion Archi­tect and Solu­tion Own­er for Sup­ply Chain Plan­ning with­in Glob­al IT at Cargill. In her role Angela is respon­si­ble for the archi­tec­ture for sales and oper­a­tions plan­ning, demand plan­ning, sup­ply plan­ning, net­work design, pro­duc­tion plan­ning and sched­ul­ing, mate­ri­als require­ments plan­ning, and inven­to­ry plan­ning. Angela has been a key resource in Cargill’s SAP IBP imple­men­ta­tion jour­ney since the begin­ning. In her role as Solu­tion Own­er for the sup­ply chain plan­ning process space, she also works to devel­op the roadmap and ser­vices for IBP and oth­er sup­ply chain plan­ning solu­tions with­in Cargill. 

Pri­or to join­ing Cargill in 2010, Angela pre­vi­ous­ly held posi­tions at Kim­ber­ly-Clark Cor­po­ra­tion and St. Jude Med­ical (now Abbott). Angela holds a B.S. in Man­age­ment Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems from Iowa State Uni­ver­si­ty. She also earned her MBA from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wisconsin.
