The Colom­bian tax admin­is­tra­tion (DIAN) issued a new res­o­lu­tion ⁰⁰⁰⁰¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₈ on Feb­ru­ary 6^th that requires large tax­pay­ers defined by the DIAN in res­o­lu­tion ⁰⁷⁶⁄₂₀₁₆ to issue and report elec­tron­ic invoic­es start­ing Sep­tem­ber 1, 2018, and in some cas­es as ear­ly as June 29, 2018. With this new res­o­lu­tion, all com­pa­nies in Colom­bia who pay and declare VAT now have a defined man­dat­ed go live date. Com­pa­nies with oper­a­tions in Colom­bia need to act now and start prepar­ing for a suc­cess­ful SAP implementation.
