In the fast-changing world of international business, industry leaders must look ahead to anticipate transformation and operate with the best practices of tomorrow in mind. In other words, they must do "business as unusual," according to SAP executive Peter Maier, who leads Strategic Customer Engagements in the Office of the CEO at SAP.

In their new SAP Press publication "Business as Unusual with SAP: How Leaders Navigate Industry Megatrends," Maier and fellow SAP executive Thomas Saueressig, who leads SAP Product Engineering, share customer stories from executives and thought leaders that demonstrate the value of aligning global business best practices with dynamic market conditions. (Read ASUG's interview with Maier and Saueressig here.)

In a recent special episode of Burning Platform, the Deal Architect Inc. podcast, ASUG CEO Geoff Scott moderated a conversation between Maier and Vinnie Mirchandani, of Deal Architect, about the publication, its relevance to CIOs and Enterprise Architects, and the recent buzz surrounding generative artificial intelligence (AI).
