As organizations move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment, many are finding that success depends more on data foundations, including trust, governance, and operating models that scale with autonomy.

In this ASUG Executive Exchange session, ASUG welcomes the Open Data Institute (ODI) and the IDEA Initiative for a research-driven discussion on what “AI readiness” looks like in 2026. Drawing on executive roundtables and ongoing research, we will share insights into how leading organizations are approaching data trust, governance, and data fabric as strategic enablers of AI. We will conclude with an open dialogue and opportunities for ASUG Members to engage further through research, roundtables, and thought leadership initiatives.

This session is designed for C-suite leaders, chief data officers, architecture and governance executives, and business leaders responsible for turning AI ambition into business outcomes.
