AI is rapid­ly becom­ing a pri­or­i­ty across SAP envi­ron­ments, but most orga­ni­za­tions are still ear­ly in the jour­ney from exper­i­men­ta­tion to enter­prise scale. This research explores how SAP cus­tomers are approach­ing AI adop­tion, where oper­a­tional use cas­es are gain­ing trac­tion, and what is pre­vent­ing broad­er deploy­ment. Find­ings high­light the grow­ing impor­tance of gov­er­nance, secu­ri­ty, and readi­ness — all of which must be addressed ear­li­er than in tra­di­tion­al tech­nol­o­gy trans­for­ma­tions. As orga­ni­za­tions look to move beyond pilots, clear­er roadmaps and prac­ti­cal imple­men­ta­tion guid­ance are emerg­ing as essen­tial to achiev­ing mea­sur­able busi­ness impact.
