APIs are becom­ing the dig­i­tal build­ing blocks to help enter­pris­es embark on their jour­ney to become live dig­i­tal businesses.

APIs enable mul­ti-speed IT, fos­ter dig­i­tal inter­ac­tions with part­ners and sup­ply chain busi­ness net­works as well as enable omni-chan­nel cus­tomer expe­ri­ences. Giv­en the impor­tance of APIs in the enter­pris­es, a sys­tem­at­ic API strat­e­gy, archi­tec­ture and design to ben­e­fit from the enor­mous poten­tial of APIs is important.
