The goal for SAP HANA, express edition (HXE): to improve the accessibility of SAP HANA by developers, administrators and students, by providing a streamlined version runnable on commodity infrastructure - for free!.
Released at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas in 2016, more than 20K registrants (excluding SAP employees) have downloaded this community supported edition of SAP HANA, running it on their laptops, in the cloud, or on any intel based serer they might have available to them.
