Before you proceed

  • BW4/HANA requires Oper­a­tional Data Pro­vi­sion­ing to be enables – Check you ECC ver­sions for Support
  • BW4/HANA 2.0 is rec­om­mend­ed on HANA 2.0 SPS3 and upwards and not all hard­ware is compliant
  • If you are mov­ing to S/4HANA- the extrac­tors are being refac­tored and migrat­ing to B/4 and S/4 at the same time would quick­ly become overwhelming
