Dr. Jenny Brockis—medical practitioner, healthy brain advocate, and future-mind planner—has long been fascinated by the brain and human behavior. Her mission is to become the Jamie Oliver of brain fitness, making brain fitness as widely appreciated as nutrition. She believes that elevating brain and organizational health is the way forward to build personal and professional capability, achievement, and happiness. She works with individuals and organizations to boost mental performance through increased productivity and efficiency, collaboration, and effective leadership. Her approach to overcoming some of the many challenges facing the modern workplace is based on practical neuroscience, enabling us to understand why we think or behave the way we do and how to implement effective behavioral change.
An accredited Member of Professional Speakers Australia, Jenny is an international speaker. She was awarded the Rostrum Arthur Garvey Trophy in 2010 as Speaker of the Year. She has continued her own brain's education with further study into the neuroscience of leadership, is trained to teach mindfulness meditation, and has authored three books: "Brain Fit! How Smarter Thinking Can Save Your Brain","Brain Smart: How to Regain Focus, Manage Distractions, and Achieve More." Her latest best-selling book, "Future Brain: The 12 Keys to Create Your High-Performance Brain” (Wiley) was published in late 2015.
In addition, Jenny is a regular contributor to several magazines, and has written many articles for a large number of print and online publications. She has spoken to a wide variety of radio stations around Australia and featured on national and local TV.
When not speaking, writing, or researching, Jenny loves to spend time with her family, travelling the world, and challenging her long-standing fear of heights.
