Kimberly Sharp, Director, Business Systems, BJ's Wholesale Club

Kimberly began her professional career in financial services working for Boston-based Putnam Investments. In her role as a Regional Marketing Director she supported financial advisors in growing their businesses.  After 6 years, she made the decision to leave the world of finance to follow her passion for all things retail and joined the BJ’s Wholesale Club team in 2009.

She began her career at BJ’s working in Supply Chain and through a series of promotions became a Category Merchant in the Food Division.  In 2013, Kimberly was asked to serve as a key team member on BJ’s largest IT project to date – an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. Today, as the Director of Business Systems, she leads a team charged with enhancing the strategic capabilities of BJ’s through the transformation of business process, information management and technical solutions.

Passionate about increasing the opportunities for women in IT and Retail, Kimberly is an active member of the Network of Executive Women and BJ’s Women’s Forum.  As a leader of the BJ’s Women’s Forum, Kimberly, facilitates monthly StrengthsFinders workshops; assisting Team Members in developing action plans that leverage their newly discovered strengths.

On Thursday evenings, you’ll likely find Kimberly at the Daily Bread Food Pantry.  The Pantry is 100% volunteer run and serves families in her hometown of Milford, Massachusetts.  She’s mom to 8-year-old puggle, Lola, a forever Red Sox fan, skier, Jeep enthusiast and avid traveling foodie.
