European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) SCIP Database—An Open Conversation
Many discrete manufacturing companies that produce, import, and/or distribute SVHC-relevant articles in the EU must submit notifications to the ECHA SCIP database. Since this regulation went into effect in 2021, there has been much discussion among SAP users. This Think Tank will open the conversation to all ASUG members:
- Is my company impacted?
- What are the requirements?
- Where / How do I get this information in SAP?
For those who are familiar with the regulation, we can discuss answers to these questions:
- What experiences have you had? Positive/negative?
- What challenges have you faced when obtaining information from SAP / your company?
- What solutions are you using? SAP? IUCLID? Something else?
- What best practices do you have to share?
Please come prepared to unmute your microphone for discussion.
This interactive session, occurring on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT, will consist of:
- Learning about the ECHA SCIP database regulation
- Understanding how SAP can be used to meet the requirements
- Sharing information / obtaining best practices from other members
