Many dis­crete man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pa­nies that pro­duce, import, and/​or dis­trib­ute SVHC-rel­e­vant arti­cles in the EU must sub­mit noti­fi­ca­tions to the ECHA SCIP data­base. Since this reg­u­la­tion went into effect in 2021, there has been much dis­cus­sion among SAP users. This Think Tank will open the con­ver­sa­tion to all ASUG members: 

• Is my com­pa­ny impacted? 
• What are the requirements? 
• Where / How do I get this infor­ma­tion in SAP? 

For those who are famil­iar with the reg­u­la­tion, we can dis­cuss answers to these questions: 

• What expe­ri­ences have you had? Positive/​negative? 
• What chal­lenges have you faced when obtain­ing infor­ma­tion from SAP / your company? 
• What solu­tions are you using? SAP? IUCLID? Some­thing else? 
• What best prac­tices do you have to share? 

Please come pre­pared to unmute your micro­phone for discussion. 

This inter­ac­tive ses­sion, occur­ring on Tues­day, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT, will con­sist of: 

• Learn­ing about the ECHA SCIP data­base regulation 
• Under­stand­ing how SAP can be used to meet the requirements 
• Shar­ing infor­ma­tion / obtain­ing best prac­tices from oth­er members
