What to Expect:

AI is already delivering significant enterprise value, with four core use cases leading the charge: knowledge management systems that unlock institutional expertise, customer service automation that scales support operations, code generation tools that accelerate development cycles, and individual productivity tools that support a broad set of daily tasks. However, the future of enterprise AI lies in agentic systems—autonomous AI that can plan, reason, and execute complex multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention.

This conversation will first examine the proven use cases generating ROI today, then explore how agents represent a fundamental shift from traditional AI implementations. We'll define what makes a system truly "agentic," contrast the dynamic decision-making of agents with the rigid logic of traditional workflows, and survey the emerging platform landscape—from low-level frameworks such as LangChain’s LangGraph for technical teams, to no-code builders such as Forge for citizen developers, to domain and ecosystem-specific platforms such as SAP Joule.
