This presentation addresses the next step in the evolution of accounting and finance – continuous accounting, which is enabled by in-memory technology and improvements in ERP software – notably SAP’s S/4HANA Finance. This session  will define continuous accounting and compare it to the typical record-to-report process used today. Additionally, it will cover the key requirements to enable organizations to move toward continuous accounting - technology, people, and process. Finally, it will address key benefits of the concept and discuss how it helps the accounting and finance serve strategic roles within their organizations.
