In this ses­sion, Jonathan Bragg of Mind­set Con­sult­ing & Hen­nie Pieters of Sun Chem­i­cal will pro­vide an overview of how Design Think­ing was lever­aged to pro­vide an accu­rate, high-res­o­lu­tion pro­to­type of a desired busi­ness appli­ca­tion in three weeks, and how that app was then cre­at­ed with­in nine weeks for deliv­ery to pro­duc­tion. Key ele­ments of this pre­sen­ta­tion include Design Think­ing process and val­ue, High-res­o­lu­tion pro­to­typ­ing, def­i­n­i­tion of phase one deliv­er­able and back­log of fea­tures, deploy­ment of on- and off-shore devel­op­ment team to deliv­er, Agile devel­op­ment coor­di­na­tion between Sun Chem­i­cal and part­ner resources, devel­op­ment veloc­i­ty track­ing, key met­rics (i.e. cost per point, sprint out­put, etc.).
