Pre­sen­ter Bio:

Mr. Lip­ton joined SAP in 1998.   His cur­rent role is Lead, Sup­ply Chain Solu­tion Archi­tec­ture with­in Sup­ply Chain Solu­tion Man­age­ment.     Pri­or roles at SAP include Direc­tor for Seri­al­iza­tion and RFID, and Direc­tor of Sup­ply Chain Busi­ness Consulting.

Mr. Lip­ton has over 30 years of expe­ri­ence in sup­ply chain man­age­ment con­sult­ing and solu­tions devel­op­ment.  Pri­or to SAP, he held lead­er­ship posi­tions with lead­ing sup­ply chain man­age­ment solu­tion providers, and he was a founder and prin­ci­pal of the ITP Group, where he led prod­uct devel­op­ment in the area of sup­ply chain and fac­to­ry automa­tion sys­tems.   Pri­or to ITP, Mr. Lip­ton was in the high tech indus­try, in the areas of plan­ning, man­u­fac­tur­ing, and distribution.

Mr. Lip­ton holds a Mas­ter of Sci­ence degree in Man­age­ment from the MIT Sloan School of Man­age­ment, and a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence degree in Chem­istry from MIT.
