Hear from Don Maley, pres­i­dent and CEO of Lake Charles Methanol, LLC (LCM), on how it will unique­ly bun­dle exist­ing com­mer­cial tech­nolo­gies, includ­ing car­bon cap­ture and seques­tra­tion, into an inno­v­a­tive tech­nol­o­gy process. The goal of this project is to decar­bonize petro­le­um waste (Pet­Coke) and com­bine it with nat­ur­al gas to cre­ate zero-car­bon blue methanol. As a result, LCM’s methanol feed­stock will have a 99% reduc­tion in pol­lu­tion, as well as a 90% cap­ture and seques­tra­tion of CO2 over conventional. 

You’ll also hear from James Veale, pres­i­dent and co-founder of Green­To­ken by SAP, on how LCM will tran­si­tion toward using Green­To­ken by SAP tech­nol­o­gy to guar­an­tee a low­er car­bon foot­print. This dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion will also help ensure this guar­an­tee by using the platform’s cloud-host­ed and sim­ple-to-audit sys­tem based on a blockchain ledger to keep track of LCM methanol products.
