Hear from Don Maley, president and CEO of Lake Charles Methanol, LLC (LCM), on how it will uniquely bundle existing commercial technologies, including carbon capture and sequestration, into an innovative technology process. The goal of this project is to decarbonize petroleum waste (PetCoke) and combine it with natural gas to create zero-carbon blue methanol. As a result, LCM’s methanol feedstock will have a 99% reduction in pollution, as well as a 90% capture and sequestration of CO2 over conventional.

You’ll also hear from James Veale, president and co-founder of GreenToken by SAP, on how LCM will transition toward using GreenToken by SAP technology to guarantee a lower carbon footprint. This digital transformation will also help ensure this guarantee by using the platform’s cloud-hosted and simple-to-audit system based on a blockchain ledger to keep track of LCM methanol products.
