Overview

To achieve operational excellence, companies need a transformation strategy that empowers cross-functional teams (comprised of IT and OT professionals)
to orchestrate change to improve operational performance. The plan they execute needs to align with top business priorities, anchored by performance milestones
that have been difficult to attain in the past. Additionally, siloed data sources that provide operational insight should be integrated so that performance improvements
and process streamlining contribute to improving operational processes. These are key elements required to really drive transformation for operations.

This innovation day will discuss the oil and gas industry’s digital transformation, which is in the process of focusing on next-generation operational excellence and asset
performance management solutions. Sessions will discuss how technology, data, business processes, and culture must be considered and rationalized to drive success.

By developing an enterprise transformation plan, companies can adjust to dynamic changes occurring in their industry and successfully navigate the hype cycles
driven by technology to improve decisions and processes in operations.

Companies that have been successful with transformation are focused on improving decisions at the point of work execution. They also navigate dynamic enterprise changes, using this approach to reduce risk, enable safe work practices, and improve operational visibility, one project at a time.
