When Dow partnered with SAP to deliver their latest ERP platform, Dangerous Goods (DG) functionality was elevated to a new level. Built on the standard SAP model with minor customizations, Dow now manages to deliver DG classifications on labels, output documents and SDSs for all modes of transportation globally for a variety of products, wastes and raw materials. In this session, we will review:

•Challenges of integrating data sources, work processes, and cross-functional needs while meeting global regulatory requirements

•Benefits and enhancements gained from implementing SAP

•Leveraging learnings to future endeavors

Kelly Gojkovich, Dow Chemical

Ms. Gojkovich joined The Dow Chemical Company in August 2010 as an EHS Transportation Regulatory Manager. She is currently the Business Process Expert for Dangerous Goods in the Diamond Systems Solutions Organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, global processes and standards. Ms. Gojkovich was an integral team lead during one of the largest multi-year SAP implementations in the industry where she was responsible for solution implementation, data conversion efforts, change management and training.

With almost 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, Ms. Gojkovich has held global leadership positions in Hazard Communication, EHS and Transportation Regulatory Compliance. She maintains Dangerous Goods regulatory certifications with IATA, IMDG, CFR and TDG, as well as being intimately familiar other global transport regulations.

Ms. Gojkovich holds a Master of Science Degree in Polymer and Coating Technology from DePaul University where she was the two time recipient of the Coatings Industry Education Foundation Fellowship.
