Most every­one knows that there are three types of stock in SAP: Unre­strict­ed stock, Blocked stock, and Qual­i­ty stock.  How­ev­er, the one that most peo­ple know the least about is Qual­i­ty stock (also known as QI stock or sim­ply Q stock).

This ses­sion will explain what Qual­i­ty Stock is, how it is man­aged and con­trolled, and how it inte­grates with oth­er areas of SAP includ­ing MRP/​planning and Ware­house Man­age­ment.  This tar­get audi­ence for this ses­sion includes SAP QM sup­port teams, mate­r­i­al plan­ning teams, ware­house sup­port teams, and any­one else who wants to know more about the very pow­er­ful and some­times mys­te­ri­ous Q stock type with­in SAP.
