In day-to-day operations, every site EH&S team faces challenges in managing incoming vendor chemicals that needs to be reviewed and approved for usage before being accepted inside the facility. These chemicals can be raw materials, samples, maintenance or contractor chemicals that are brought inside facility for various operational purposes. Safety data sheets for these chemicals needs to be readily available in a central repository so that employees can refer to hazard, precautionary and safety measures before handling them. Employees need to be aware of approved usage and risks related to chemicals around their work location for different operation statuses.

New SAP EHSM Chemical Approval process combined with Risk Assessment module addresses all the above challenge by providing a streamlined process that collaborates chemical requestor, site chemical reviewer, risk assessor and SDS data entry clerk to ensure all aspects of chemical review and approval process are taken care. Add to this, a new Fiori application that can be accessed by employees from their mobile device any time to review their workplace risks and ensure their own safety.

Join this demo as we walk through each and every step of above process.
