Cloud: From Digital Business to the Intelligent Enterprise
Abstract:
The last 10 years have been characterized by the migration of workloads and data to the cloud (also referred to as the digital era). This has improved operational efficiency and agility, but the promise of big data has yet to be realized. The next 10 years will be the era of Intelligent Systems (machine learning, Internet of things, and advanced analytics). SAP is making massive investments in organic innovation and acquisitions to help our customers become Intelligent Enterprises. In this session, we will share SAP’s vision for the Intelligent Enterprise.

Bio:
David Pluto is a Vice President in SAP’s Corporate Strategy group where he leads a team focused on driving SAP’s Cloud Applications & Ecosystem strategy. David also serves as an advisor to SAP.iO, a strategic investment fund which invests in early-stage start-ups that leverage SAP APIs, data, and technologies to drive significant value for SAP’s customers.
David has extensive strategy and operations experience primarily focused in the Technology industry. He joined SAP in 2013 after 12 years driving strategy and transformation with Deloitte and leading sales and professional services teams for a financial software start-up. He received an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in engineering from Cornell University.
