SAP announced that Bill McDermott is stepping down from his role as CEO, and is promoting Jennifer Morgan and Christian Klein to be co-CEOs, effective immediately.
Under Bill’s leadership, SAP has grown its footprint and revitalized its focus on customers and ensuring their success. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Bill and getting to know him over the years, and we always have shared a common interest in helping businesses make more possible with SAP.
The great news is that won’t change under Jennifer’s and Christian’s leadership. I have spent time with both, and I can assure you that their top priority will be making certain that all SAP customers are set up to accelerate their businesses and technologies for the future. They value the perspective that ASUG and the other global user groups bring to the table—that’s for sure.
