In the age of globalization, a number or companies have multinational customer base and operate out of multiple countries. Corporates entities are hence facing upsurge in bank connections and internal and external payment flows including cross border payments. To gain competitive edge there is a need to efficiently manage flow of payments, related risks and cost associated with it. Companies are also looking to consolidate and have better visibility of their cash.

SAP In-House Cash solution is built to address these need. It enables organization to settle payables receivable of group companies centrally without any actual cash flow while retaining benefits of normal bank account like interest, overdraft, etc. It helps in making external payments to business partners on behalf of subsidiaries and to process incoming payments from business partners and forward them to subsidiaries. In this way it lowers the bank charges incurred and enable intercompany funding to reduce reliance on external funding sources. It improves visibility of global cash and help in consolidating cash centrally through cash pooling structures to facilitate investment and funding decisions.
