Fol­low­ing its spin-off and IPO, Advan­Six began its dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion by re-plat­form­ing its SAP envi­ron­ment to Suite on HANA, run­ning on Microsoft Azure. Our SAP envi­ron­ment has been suc­cess­ful­ly run­ning in Azure since 2018 with cost sav­ings, per­for­mance, and effi­cien­cy ben­e­fits. Dur­ing this ses­sion, we’ll share our approach, ben­e­fits real­ized, as well as chal­lenges faced and how we mit­i­gat­ed those chal­lenges. Advan­Six plays a crit­i­cal role in glob­al sup­ply chains, inno­vat­ing and deliv­er­ing essen­tial prod­ucts for our cus­tomers in a wide vari­ety of end mar­kets and appli­ca­tions that touch people’s lives, such as build­ing and con­struc­tion, fer­til­iz­ers, plas­tics, sol­vents, pack­ag­ing, paints, coat­ings, adhe­sives, and elec­tron­ics. Our reli­able and sus­tain­able sup­ply of qual­i­ty prod­ucts emerges from the ver­ti­cal­ly inte­grat­ed val­ue chain of our U.S.-based man­u­fac­tur­ing facil­i­ties.
