The format for Tuesday, April 21 at 9 a.m. CT will include: 

Discussion will start with a short summary of the current industry trends. The summary will be followed with an interactive discussion on how machine learning, AI, and VR are being used at participants’ organizations.   

• Discussion led by ASUG member Carol Kirkpatrick from Bell 

• The discussion will focus on: 

• What is happening in the industry? 

• How is SAP supporting the implementation of machine learning? 

• What are other companies doing? 

• Sharing of recent wins or successes, along with resources utilized 

Insights:

• Companies from many industries are exploring the use of Machine Learning in their organizations
• Machine learning exploration through the use of drone technology is providing visibility into areas that require attention (ex: railroads, construction sites); historically these pictures were taken manually and sent back to organization for analysis
• Most attendees on the call were new to machine learning, but admitted to using a personal assistant (Siri, Alexa); the landscape is changing quickly
