Agrana Fruit US was using a lega­cy CMMS sys­tem that only allowed for siloed instances at each of its pro­duc­tion plants. Before invest­ing in an over­due upgrade, Agrana took the oppor­tu­ni­ty to con­sid­er its long-term strat­e­gy and objec­tives. The deci­sion was made to imple­ment SAP Plant Main­te­nance, SAP Asset Man­ag­er, and com­po­nents of SAP Intel­li­gent Asset Man­age­ment to take advan­tage of the stan­dard inte­gra­tion to oth­er mod­ules of SAP already in use, pro­vide a mobile solu­tion to make the tech­ni­cians more effi­cient, and lever­age data across plants.
