Agrana Fruit US was using a legacy CMMS system that only allowed for siloed instances at each of its production plants. Before investing in an overdue upgrade, Agrana took the opportunity to consider its long-term strategy and objectives. The decision was made to implement SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Asset Manager, and components of SAP Intelligent Asset Management to take advantage of the standard integration to other modules of SAP already in use, provide a mobile solution to make the technicians more efficient, and leverage data across plants.
