This call will be host­ed over Zoom and will offer exten­sive facil­i­tat­ed net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties, designed to keep you con­nect­ed with your chap­ter peers. This event will be the first in a series of four vir­tu­al events sur­round­ing Util­i­ties indus­try topics.

The for­mat for Fri­day, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. CT will include:

• Brief wel­come and kick­off from ASUG 
• Pre­sen­ta­tion by Tyler Sander­son, Func­tion­al Ana­lyst II at Lin­coln Elec­tric Sys­tem, and Oscar Del Castil­lo, ERP Func­tion­al Ana­lyst II at Lin­coln Elec­tric System

The pre­sen­ta­tion and dis­cus­sion will focus on LES’ con­tin­u­ous trans­for­ma­tion of work and asset man­age­ment practices:

• LES first imple­ment­ed Work Man­ag­er for its meter tech­ni­cians in 2017. Two years lat­er, LES dras­ti­cal­ly increased their use of stan­dard plant main­te­nance process and mobil­i­ty by expand­ing its use to trans­mis­sion, dis­tri­b­u­tion, gen­er­a­tion, sub­sta­tion and facil­i­ties assets.
• Along the way, LES has incor­po­rat­ed some new func­tion­al­i­ty into GIS and Work Man­ag­er to bet­ter serve our needs. The func­tion­al­i­ty includes:
  • SAP – GIS inte­gra­tion for trans­mis­sion and dis­tri­b­u­tion assets, noti­fi­ca­tions and orders
  • Issu­ing mate­ri­als from Work Man­ag­er to spe­cif­ic order
  • Doc­u­ment­ing addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion using Forms built in MS Pow­er Apps
