Abstract:

Do you want to transform your entire organization, grow your business, have rapid increase in EE engagement and leadership trust – Listen to how SAP changes the FACE of HR!

As Chief HR Strategy & Transformation Executive at SAP SuccessFactors, Brigette McInnis-Day, played a lead role in driving SAP through their own HR transformation beginning in 2012.

She faced many of the same challenges any one of us would face in a renovation of HR processes, practices and technology. One might think Brigette had one thing the rest of us do not have on this journey: they own the cloud software that would become their HR system of record — SAP SuccessFactors. And while that is true, SAP was migrating from a highly customized on-premise solution – one that was on a fully-integrated platform with the rest of the business – and one that was comfortable for a large majority of their employee population.

Taking this leap also meant, SAP had to drink their own champagne as a key reference customer of SuccessFactors and the reality was redesigning processes, changing employee mindset, challenging the old way of doing things, and pushing for improvements and investments in the solution itself.

SAP realized significant bottom line business benefits as a result of the disruption. By merging core HR data with financial data, SAP is now able to make intelligent predictions and decisions about the future of HR at SAP. They spend less time on execution of tasks and more time on strategic planning. Digital Boardroom helps to expose important data facts to leadership to make key business and talent decisions rapidly. Technology facilitates more frequent human connections throughout the organization and higher satisfaction across their employees.
