Tech­nol­o­gy has and will con­tin­ue to change the way ener­gy is gen­er­at­ed, deliv­ered, and used. The sim­ple trans­for­ma­tion from cen­tral­ized gen­er­at­ed and dis­trib­uted elec­tric­i­ty is cre­at­ing chal­lenges and oppor­tu­ni­ties for the cur­rent ener­gy stakeholders. 

In this keynote we will dive into the ben­e­fits of dis­trib­uted ener­gy resources (DERs), the short­com­ings in cur­rent DERs deploy­ment, the diver­si­fi­ca­tion of DER gen­er­a­tion tech­nolo­gies and the vision for a tran­si­tion to a more decar­bonized ener­gy system.
