Mike Flan­na­gan is Senior Vice Pres­i­dent of SAP Ana­lyt­ics and SAP Leonar­do. In this role, he is respon­si­ble for prod­ucts that enable the dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion of busi­ness­es around the world. Mike’s team is dri­ving the strat­e­gy behind SAP Leonar­do, which unites key tech­nolo­gies — data intel­li­gence and big data, ana­lyt­ics, machine learn­ing, the inter­net of things (IoT), blockchain and cloud — to find repeat­able solu­tions to the tough­est busi­ness prob­lems across numer­ous indus­tries. Mike also serves on the Board of Direc­tors for the Glob­al Part­ner­ship for Sus­tain­able Devel­op­ment, a grow­ing net­work of more than 250 orga­ni­za­tions that act as data cham­pi­ons work­ing around the world, har­ness­ing the data rev­o­lu­tion for sus­tain­able development.

Mike is active in the start­up com­mu­ni­ty as an angel investor, men­tor and board mem­ber. Pri­or to join­ing SAP, Mike served as an advi­sor to Machine Learn­ing Start­up DataRPM (acquired by Progress Soft­ware) and was Cor­po­rate Vice Pres­i­dent and Gen­er­al Man­ag­er of the Data & Ana­lyt­ics Soft­ware Group at Cis­co Sys­tems. Mike co-found­ed Chal­lenge­Up, an IoT focused start­up accel­er­a­tor, with exec­u­tives from Intel, Deutsche Telekom and Cis­co. Mike holds mul­ti­ple patents, is a pub­lished author, and a fre­quent speak­er at indus­try events.

Mike was a busi­ness major at The Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas at San Anto­nio and went on to earn his MBA from Auburn Uni­ver­si­ty, where he now serves on Advi­so­ry Boards for the Col­lege of Busi­ness and the Grad­u­ate School.
