Timo Elliott is an innovation evangelist and passionate advocate of digital transformation, analytics, and artificial intelligence. He has presented the latest digital trends to business and IT audiences in over fifty countries around the world and his articles appear regularly in online publications such as Harvard Business Review, Forbes, ZDNet, The Guardian, and Digitalist Magazine. He has worked in the UK, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the US, and currently lives in Paris, France. He has a first-class honors degree in Econometrics from Bristol University, UK, and holds a patent in the area of mobile analytics.
Tom Raftery is a Global Vice President for multinational software corporation SAP, an adjunct professor at the Instituto Internacional San Telmo, a board advisor for a number of start-ups, and an active cryptocurrency investor. Before joining SAP Tom worked as an independent industry analyst focusing on the Internet of Things, Energy and CleanTech and as a Futurist for Gerd Leonhardt’s Futures Agency. Tom has a very strong background in technology and social media having worked in the industry since 1991. He is the co-founder of an Irish software firm and is co-founder and director of hyper energy-efficient data center Cork Internet eXchange – the data centre with the lowest latency connection between Europe and North America. Tom also worked as an Analyst for industry analyst firm RedMonk, leading their GreenMonk practice for over 7 years. Tom serves on the Advisory Boards of SmartCities World and RetailEverywhere.com.
