Discover SAP’s new solution for financial performance management on individual item level. Originally developed for complex allocations and calculations in the financial services industries, the application is now also positioned in other industries with very large numbers of customers, products, or services such as consumer goods, utilities, telecommunications, retail, or transportation. It was from the beginning designed for SAP’s in-memory database HANA and provides you with unique capabilities regarding response times, processing of very high data volumes and ad-hoc simulations.

FS-PER can use external data models accelerating implementation projects and increasing user acceptance significantly. Its flexibility in data sourcing and rules definition results in fast return on investment. Use this application for calculating profitability on most detailed level enabling you to get full transparency in all desired reporting dimensions.

Thomas Boerner, SAP

Thomas Boerner, based in Walldorf, Germany, has been working for SAP since 1991, first as software developer, later as development architect and since 2007 as Solution Manager for finance applications in banks. In this global role, he analyzes functional requirements of customers and standard setters in accounting and financial performance management and when they become available, he rolls out new products, releases and functions to customers, partners and SAP colleagues and supports them with his business expertise. Since 2015 he is also Solution Owner of FS-PER, the new strategic platform for financial performance management on individual item level for the financial services industries as well as for other industries with very large numbers of customers, products or services such as consumer products, retail, utilities, transportation, and telecommunications.
