Cono­coPhillips was expe­ri­enc­ing chal­lenges with test­ing data while using the SAP Pro­duc­tion and Rev­enue Account­ing (PRA) solu­tion. The inte­grat­ed nature of their busi­ness process­es made it impos­si­ble to keep sev­er­al full copies of pro­duc­tion in the non­pro­duc­tion land­scape. This cre­at­ed a chal­lenge around enabling func­tion­al ana­lysts, testers, train­ers, and con­sul­tants to access the data they need to sup­port the pro­duc­tion sys­tem. Cono­coPhillips lever­aged EPI-USE Labs’ Data Sync Man­ag­er™ (DSM) solu­tion to over­come these chal­lenges. DSM has allowed the orga­ni­za­tion to copy data on demand, reduce data vol­ume, and refresh the test sys­tems more fre­quent­ly to bring back mas­ter data and a time-sliced sub­set of trans­ac­tion­al data from production.
