ConocoPhillips was experiencing challenges with testing data while using the SAP Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA) solution. The integrated nature of their business processes made it impossible to keep several full copies of production in the nonproduction landscape. This created a challenge around enabling functional analysts, testers, trainers, and consultants to access the data they need to support the production system. ConocoPhillips leveraged EPI-USE Labs’ Data Sync Manager™ (DSM) solution to overcome these challenges. DSM has allowed the organization to copy data on demand, reduce data volume, and refresh the test systems more frequently to bring back master data and a time-sliced subset of transactional data from production.
