EPCOR runs a high­ly com­plex busi­ness in Cana­da, pro­vid­ing over 1 mil­lion cus­tomers with pow­er, water, waste­water and nat­ur­al gas in both reg­u­lat­ed and de-reg­u­lat­ed envi­ron­ments. The com­pa­ny recent­ly under­went an excit­ing busi­ness trans­for­ma­tion, includ­ing a major, high­ly com­plex SAP CIS imple­men­ta­tion, which was com­plet­ed dur­ing the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic in Novem­ber 2020. To reimag­ine and trans­form their busi­ness, they chose the bold path of ques­tion­ing everything…and it paid off.

With the suc­cess­ful (100% vir­tu­al) go-live behind them, and crit­i­cal suc­cess met­rics from the project already achieved, EPCOR is turn­ing its atten­tion to lever­ag­ing new tech­nol­o­gy to reduce cost and com­plex­i­ty and tru­ly become an intel­li­gent enterprise.
