With the mas­sive expan­sion of the com­pa­ny in the last decade, thanks to the M&As, a lot of incon­sis­tent busi­ness process­es crept in and there was a clear need for improv­ing effi­cien­cies and effec­tive­ness. With more than 7,000 chem­i­cals cus­tomers world­wide, deep indus­try-spe­cif­ic capa­bil­i­ties, and embed­ded, pre-con­fig­ured sup­port for best prac­tices, SAP was an easy choice. The dif­fi­cult part was to ensure we brace our­selves for the jour­ney with a buy-in for stan­dard­iza­tion across all enti­ties but the need for a sin­gle ver­sion of truth and prepar­ing IVL for the future brought the stake­hold­ers on board. With Accen­ture and SAP’s expe­ri­ence and capa­bil­i­ties, we have embarked on a dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion jour­ney, to be able to unlock new busi­ness val­ues, reduce the cycle times and unleash sig­nif­i­cant sav­ings & effectiveness.
