Kickstarting (and Maturing) Your Data Governance Program

Mas­ter Data is the foun­da­tion for all oth­er data for an orga­ni­za­tion. It enables crit­i­cal trans­ac­tions and is the cor­ner­stone of tra­di­tion­al report­ing , as well as for advanced and pre­dic­tive ana­lyt­ics like Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence (AI) and Machine Learn­ing (ML). For such a small word, data, is real­ly big and at times can seem over­whelm­ing. This is espe­cial­ly true if you are con­sid­er­ing adding data gov­er­nance into your cur­rent data man­age­ment pro­gram. These tech­nol­o­gy-enabled dis­ci­plines require delib­er­ate and active col­lab­o­ra­tion between the busi­ness and IT to ensure uni­for­mi­ty, accu­ra­cy and stew­ard­ship of orga­ni­za­tion’s mas­ter data.
