In 2019, with SAP Cloud Platform, Murphy Oil implemented complex solutions with graphics for high-velocity frac data. Further, the organization built a remote assistant to bridge knowledge gaps in its workforce and iRPA for automating forecasting models. Key outcomes included real-time visual representation of drilling and completion process, which aids rapid decision-making, communication across disciplines, consistency, and repeatability in completions and operations process. Efforts also led to lowering operational cost and expenses leveraging remote assistant, bringing down operational risks and discrepancies in system leveraging bots, and breaking down organizational and data silos.
