Operational excellence and continuous improvement programs at energy companies often target cost management and worker engagement to improve business performance. However, without making associated improvements in technologies or processes, many of these companies have struggled to reduce operations and maintenance costs to any significant degree.

The advent of machine learning and the convergence of information technology (IT) with operational technology (OT) systems has provided oil and gas companies with a glimmer of hope.

Join us for this webcast where Peter Reynolds, Contributing Analyst at ARC Advisory, will take us through some examples of what you can do to maintain a competitive advantage.

Speaker:

Peter Reynolds, Contributing Analyst, ARC Advisory Group

Peter brings more than 25 years of professional experience in process automation applications, information technology and supply chain in the downstream oil refining and petroleum product marketing. Prior to joining ARC, Peter served as a Manager of Automation and IT at Irving Oil in Saint John, New Brunswick, which operates Canada’s largest refinery.
