Speak­er Bio:

Gun­ther Schmalzhaf has worked for SAP since 2003. As an IT-Plan­ning Archi­tect in the Dig­i­tal Busi­ness Ser­vices orga­ni­za­tion he sup­ports SAP cus­tomers in their plan­ning process­es and pro­vides strate­gic guid­ance. His main focus is tech­ni­cal archi­tec­ture and HANA, vir­tu­al­iza­tion and cloud, with a broad scope to archi­tec­tur­al plan­ning, capac­i­ty plan­ning, instance struc­ture and much more. Till 2011, he was prod­uct man­ag­er for Vir­tu­al­iza­tion, Adap­tive Com­put­ing and Cloud Tech­nol­o­gy. He man­aged cus­tomer and part­ner activ­i­ties around imple­men­ta­tion, strat­e­gy and land­scape aspects. Before that he gained 10 years’ expe­ri­ence in work­ing with ERP sys­tems for cus­tomers and was a tech­ni­cal con­sul­tant with an SAP Tech­nol­o­gy Partner.
