Steve Chaffee, Clipper Windpower

Steve Chaffee is an Engineer, Project Manager, MBA and ASUG member with a little over 10 years of experience with SAP.

Steve’s assignments have included R&D, new product introduction, software development, and program management, for organizations from HP and UTC to government entities to startups. Much of this work has benefited from heavy involvement in IT as a key enabler of improved communication, collaboration and productivity. Steve currently acts as the program manager of an SAP installation for a utility-scale wind turbine manufacturer. In this position, he supports the CFO with a systems thinking approach to ensure the business is enabled, rather than impeded by the solution. This includes working at the interfaces between business functions as an interpreter, negotiator and educator.

Steve resides in Colorado with his wife, daughter and 2 dogs, and can often be found outside, loving every possible minute biking, backpacking or succumbing to his ultra-running addiction.
