Sau­di Aram­co has recent­ly deployed SAP Fiori appli­ca­tions for Plant Main­te­nance. We’d like to share our suc­cess sto­ry with a focus on three dif­fer­ent dimen­sions: 1) SAP Fiori, 2) SAP Plant Main­te­nance, and 3) effi­cient main­te­nance with the help of SAP Fiori. 

SAP Fiori will be the prime focus since it offers a lot with the poten­tial to cater to every­one. The frame­work of Fiori 3.0 offers pow­er­ful tools, mak­ing tasks eas­i­er across plat­forms. Fiori 3.0 also sup­ports back­end tech­nolo­gies such as CDS views and HANA. 

This tran­si­tion changed the per­spec­tive of the users who had worked with a graph­i­cal user inter­face for over two decades, get­ting charts and dash­board ana­lyt­ics from Busi­ness Ware­house while rely­ing on back data. 

We’ll also share our expe­ri­ences and chal­lenges, as well as per­for­mance issues and the user experience.
