To man­age a rapid­ly grow­ing foot­print of SAP soft­ware, Agi­lent Tech­nolo­gies imple­ment­ed SAP Oper­a­tions Con­trol Cen­ter. The con­trol cen­ter imple­ment­ed an alerts-based response sys­tem and enabled ²⁴⁄₇ con­tin­u­ous mon­i­tor­ing of all SAP soft­ware sys­tems (44 to 100-plus sys­tems in four years), reduc­ing crit­i­cal inci­dents while keep­ing SAP Basis head­count the same.
