Abstract:

Har­ris­Log­ic is a tech­nol­o­gy and clin­i­cal ser­vices com­pa­ny found­ed on the belief that tech­nol­o­gy can improve men­tal health­care — specif­i­cal­ly sui­cide pre­ven­tion, cri­sis response, and recidivism.

Using SAP Busi­ness Objects and Pre­dic­tive Ana­lyt­ics for­ward engi­neered into SAP HANA, Har­ris­Log­ic worked with men­tal health pro­fes­sion­als to update & upgrade their tech­nol­o­gy stack in order to sup­port fast, live, and accu­rate deci­sion mak­ing in behav­ioral health settings.

Speak­er Bios: 

Hud­son strives to cre­ate a bet­ter approach to serv­ing at-risk pop­u­la­tions by mar­ry­ing his skill set with a pas­sion to change the indus­try stan­dard of care. 

He has expe­ri­ence in soft­ware devel­op­ment prowess, finance, ana­lyt­ics and writ­ing. Hud­son pre­vi­ous­ly served as Chief Imple­men­ta­tion Offi­cer at Adapt of Amer­i­ca, where he over­saw the launch of tech­nol­o­gy and sup­port ser­vices for jails, behav­ioral health author­i­ties, and on behalf of large munic­i­pal­i­ties. His ear­li­er work as an attor­ney for a num­ber of prac­tices gave him the oppor­tu­ni­ty to stand up for indi­vid­u­als that had fall­en vic­tim to unfair prac­tices, such as med­ical mal­prac­tice and dis­crim­i­na­tion in the areas of employ­ment, hous­ing and disability.

Eric is the CEO and co-founder of EV Tech­nolo­gies, Inc., a data and ana­lyt­ics con­sul­tan­cy based in the U.S. and Aus­tralia.  He has demon­strat­ed expe­ri­ence in archi­tect­ing ele­gant, data and ana­lyt­ics solu­tions across a host of plat­forms. He has built a team with a focus on beau­ti­ful and usable ana­lyt­ic expe­ri­ences for cus­tomers that address the need to scale to seem­ing­ly infi­nite amounts of data, are real-time, and pre­scrip­tive and pre­dic­tive in nature.

In addi­tion, he became an SAP Men­tor 2011 based upon demon­strat­ed thought lead­er­ship in the data and ana­lyt­ics ecosys­tem, is a co-host of the Diver­si­fied Seman­tic Lay­er Pod­cast Net­work, and is an acclaimed co-author of the book: SAP Busi­nes­sOb­jects BI Sys­tem Admin­is­tra­tion, pub­lished by SAP Press.
