Won­der­ing how preva­lent ​“snap­shot” tech­nol­o­gy use is for SAP HANA migrations/​conversions? Specif­i­cal­ly, we’re refer­ring to SAP Soft­ware Update Manager/​Database Migra­tion Option and what would get cor­rupt­ed if this process fails. Who uses them, and how? What tech­nolo­gies do peo­ple use?  (VMware is an exam­ple.) What lessons have peo­ple learned?
